Purpose Statement:
Our goal is to glorify God as we teach the gospel of Jesus Christ for the building up of the Community of believers.
What We Believe:
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe that there is only one living and true God existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--the same in substance, and equal in power and glory.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true Man, and is the only Mediator between God and man.
We believe in the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and are members of the body of Christ (The One Church) of which Christ is the head; that al who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ have eternal life and salvation.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Savior, Jesus Christ, His ascension in Heaven, and His present lie there for us a High Priest and Advocate, and that He is coming again to take all Christians to be with Himself.
We believe in the personal abiding of the Holy Spirit in every believer.
We believe that the local New Testament Church consists of two or more believers who have voluntarily associated themselves together for the worship, instruction, and service for the Lord. We further believe that it is the mission of the church to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ and to support those who are proclaiming this gospel at home and abroad. The church is a self-governing body, free from any ecclesiastical or spiritual authority. Therefore, church and State must be kept separate as having different functions.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ established tow ordinances: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism is an outward show of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, not a requirement of salvation or membership in this church. The Lord's Supper is a remembrance of Christ's death and is to be observed by believers until He comes again. We believe that the condition and retribution of the lost and the salvation and the blessedness of the saved are conscious and everlasting, and dependent upon personal rejection or acceptance of Jesus Christ as one's personal Savior.
We believe that the work of the Church must be supported by the free will offerings and tithes of God's people.
