About
Augusta Community Church is located in the foothills of the Montana Rockies within an hours drive of Great Falls. Our small town still enjoys that ideal of everyone knowing everyone else and taking care of each other. We are on the path that sees lots of traffic going from Yellowstone Park to Glacier Park with people finding out that just West of town a few miles is some of the most fantastic scenery along the Rocky Mountain Front.
Our Community
Augusta has a long history as a ranching community. With wide open spaces around us and the Bob Marshall Wilderness behind us, creation is a constant reminder of God's glory.
Charlie Russell and Leonard Lopp were some of the artists that painted this country. In the late 1800's and early 1900's a circuit riding preacher by the name of Brother Van even preached at this church in this tough little ranching town.
These days we are still surrounded by beautiful cattle ranches and have a town with a school - K thru 12, eating establishments, hotel, gas station, library, grocery store; all anyone needs.
